While you may find other sections of this website either humorous or a bit unbelievable, this section is completely serious. If you would like to investigate having a small, private course in your backyard, send an email to mike@farmgolf.com or use the mailing address on the Contact page. The total costs involved in the original FarmGolf Course, including bi-level clubhouse and maintenance storage building, are much lower than you would expect.
A minimum acreage of two acres is recommended for a course. The number of holes may vary from two to six. It depends on the amount of maintenance hours per week that you deem acceptable, as to how large the course should be. Green sizes can be made as small as 20 feet in diameter up to any size you desire. The main requirement for the FarmGolf course is a central water distribution system to allow for maintenance of all the constructed greens.
The information that we need to assist you in course design would be available acreage, existing site mapping (e.g. government agencies or developers), the general topography of the site and the irrigation water sources that are available. Initial consultation can be had for a minimum charge plus expenses to actually visit the site.
