Tiger Woods Rents Out FarmGolf Course

(FGP)  As the FarmGolf entourage returned from a vacation to Nevada and California at the end of November, we were contacted by a special envoy of Tiger Woods stating that "he wished to rent our world famous facility for a day or two if at all possible".  As the tournament season and fall maintenance had been completed for 2009, it was agreed that Mr. Woods could utilize our facilities at a nominal charge.

The FarmGolf rental price of $50,000 specified a rental period of no more than 36 hours.

Tiger had travelled to FarmGolf on previous occasions, for the original Young Ladies Camp and the 2004 Bush-Kerry Celebrity Golf Challenge.  So, it was only fitting for Tiger to find some solace at one of the most private golf courses in the world.

With his 5-year absence from the world's fastest growing sport, Tiger was impressed with the upgraded Clubhouse and the new Deputy Commissioner.  Not since the original Clubhouse Dedication in 2002, had FarmGolf seen so many limousines on the property.  Additional details from Tiger's stay will be included in the December 22nd FarmGolf Newsletter.

Protests Begin on December 11, 2009
at FarmGolf Course

Friday, December 11, 2009 marked the first gathering of protestors at FarmGolf, shouting out Tiger's lack of diversity in his mistresses.  As a result of a brief story in the Barbour Democrat's Valley Furnace News Section regarding a visit by Tiger Woods to Barbour County two days earlier, the world media frenzy finally made its way to West Virginia.

Cars from several states began to park along Route 92 on this cool December afternoon, which is adjacent to FarmGolf.  Stay tuned for continuing updates.
